Kerala Rubber Limited (KRL) spearheads a state government initiative to optimize the advantages of natural rubber production in the region. It envisions this by instituting an integrated facility dedicated to manufacturing natural rubber-based products, encompassing primary processing of specialty rubbers. KRL’s primary thrust lies in fostering the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, thereby nurturing entrepreneurship and facilitating the growth of small-scale industries to harness the full potential of the natural rubber industry in Kerala.

- Promotion of Natural Rubber based industrialisation in the state of Kerala with initial focus on the Medium, Small Scale and Micro Enterprises sector.
- Develop seamless linkages with Natural Rubber growers’ groups, co-operatives, producer companies etc.
- Promote public-private partnerships and generate employment through the creation of direct and indirect job opportunities.
- Serve as an umbrella organisation providing services to Natural Rubber based and allied industries in the state.
- Act as a link between existing Natural Rubber industry promotion agencies at the state and national level and with entrepreneurs/ investors.
