Training & Information Centre is to be set up as a pivotal facility dedicated to advancing skills, knowledge, and innovation within the natural rubber industrial sector. Core objectives include enhancing technical skills through courses on cutting- edge rubber processing technology and sustainability practices, dissemination of up- to-date industry information and research findings, and supporting MSMEs with business management workshops and technology adoption. The Centre aims to foster innovation by collaborating with academic institutions, establishing innovation hubs, and organizing events. It will offer certification programs to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations. Facilities will include advanced class rooms, resource library, laboratories and seminar halls. This initiative aims to strengthen the rubber industry in Kerala, driving its growth and competitiveness on a global scale.
